Samuel LoveBBC’s nature documentaries – particularly those with Sir David Attenborough’s gentle narration – have long been some of the most-loved and critically acclaimed telly out there. There’s just something so wonderful about the combination of Attenborough’s calming, informative voiceovers with breathtaking wildlife photography. While it’s a little disappointing that BBC Home Entertainment have seemingly moved away from the 4K UHD format with these releases, they still shine on Blu-ray and that is certainly evident in ASIA. This wonderful seven-part series ticks all the boxes of the BBC nature doc, and reminds us why the format is so beloved. Another wonderful series filled with remarkable beauty.
