Synopsis
From acclaimed director Walter Salles comes a profoundly moving tale of resilience and redemption, now restored in 4K. Nominated for two Academy Awards in 1998 and featuring a landmark performance from Fernanda Montenegro, Central Station follows a former school teacher who writes letters for illiterate people at a Rio de Janeiro terminus, and a young boy whose mother has just died, as they travel across Brazil searching for the father he never knew.
