SUSPIRIA
ON DVD & BLU-RAY FROM 7 OCTOBER 2019

Directed by Luca Guadagnino Soundtrack by Thom Yorke

Starring Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth

Starring Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton, Luca Guadagnino’s bewitching horror reimaging SUSPIRIA will be released on UK DVD & Blu-ray by MUBI on 7 October 2019. Pre-order the film here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Suspiria

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

Visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash, Call Me By Your Name) gleefully assembles a gifted troupe of collaborators with standout performances from Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton, an immersive soundtrack from Thom Yorke, breathless dance set pieces from choreographer Damien Jalet and startling visuals from regular DOP Sayombhu Mukdeeprom.

Casting an uncanny and unforgettable spell all its own, SUSPIRIA sears its bold imagery into your subconscious and creates a nightmarish atmosphere destined to creep under your skin for days.

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
