Dunkirk Cast & Crew Featurette

Dunkirk – the much-anticipated new cinematic event from director Christopher Nolan – soared to the top of the UK box office on its opening weekend debut, earning an estimated £9,500,000 across 637 cinemas, including £1,330,000 in IMAX venues, and still going strong.

Written and directed by Nolan, the epic action thriller Dunkirk brings the story of Operation Dynamo to the big screen as it unfolds on land, sea, and air utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 65mm film.  The film opens as hundreds of thousands of Allied troops are trapped on the beach.  Their backs to the sea, they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Christopher Nolan has created a film that brings this extraordinary event to the screen in a thrilling and uniquely real cinematic experience.  Critics and audiences alike agree that Dunkirk must be seen on the biggest possible screen, and we anticipate that the incredible response among audiences across the UK will drive continued success well into the summer.

Dunkirk features a multigenerational cast, including Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D’Arcy and Barry Keoghan, with Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy.  The film was produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan, with Jake Myers serving as executive producer.

Join us for a look behind the scenes of this seminal movie with a featuette where the cast and crew talk about the challenges and ultimate benefits of shooting through the stormy weather on Dunkirk beach.
