Who doesn’t love a bit of classic Hong Kong mayhem? And when that includes the inimitable Sammo Hung (Mr Vampire) and Karl Maka (the Aces Go Places series) you know you’re in for a treat.

Skinny Tiger and Fatty Dragon is part buddy-cop flick, part Bruce Lee tribute, with Sammo Hung playing a cop obsessed with the physical legacy of “The Little Dragon”. Teaming up with the infamous “Skinny Tiger” (Karl Maka), Sammo becomes the larger half of a luck-starved, crime fighting duo forced into a running battle against a syndicate of triad gangsters.

Combining Sammo’s genius fighting skills with his infectious physical comedy, this tour-de-force comedy-adventure makes its UK debut on Blu-ray this month with  a brand new 2K restoration from Eureka.

Exclusive to this kick-ass two-disc classic is Chiu Lee’s documentary I Am The White Tiger in which stuntman, action director, and martial artist Mark Houghton tells his story of breaking into the Hong Kong film industry, his struggle with injuries and depression, and the promise he made his teacher, the legendary filmmaker Lau Kar Leung. There are also archival interviews with director Lau Kar-wing and  actor, stuntman, and action choreographer Ridley Tsui and an all-newO-Card Slipcase featuring artwork by Darren Wheeling.

which are sure to please fans.

  • Optional English Subtitles, newly translated for this release.
