For those who wanted some HD zombie mayhem but couldn’t quite justify picking up Second Sight’s stunning Limited Edition release of Dawn of the Dead last year – the one we called “easily the finest physical release in the history of home entertainment” – fret no longer! Second Sight have released a Standard Edition that, although lacking in some of the extra goodies that the LE provided, still combines the three incredible cuts of George A. Romero’s unforgettable masterpiece and fully-loaded special features disc, in a beautiful digipack with a rigid slipcase. This is another gorgeous release of the influential zombie classic, again available in both Blu-ray and 4K UHD, that deserves a spot in your collection if the Limited Edition was a little rich for your blood.
