Ealing Studios Rarities DVD Unboxing

Those lovely folk at Network, long-time purveyors of British cinema, have launched perhaps one of their most definitive titles to date. The 28-disc Ealing Studios Rarities collection boasts a staggering 56 nuggets from the Ealing and Associated Talking Pictures archives, many of which have been unseen for almost 100 years. This set is an absolute goldmine for anyone with an interest in classic British cinema.


A global byword for cinematic quality of a quintessentially British nature, for three decades Ealing Studios was a cherished and significant part of this country’s home-grown film industry. The studio’s output was more than the renowned ‘Ealing Comedies’, however, covering everything from romances to historicals and sitcoms to satires.

This 28-disc set contains 56 rarities from both the Ealing and Associated Talking Pictures eras, many unseen since their original cinema exhibition:
