For The Love Of Cars

It’s Valentine’s Day, and while we here at FilmJuice love all things film related there are a lot of films that have nurtured a love of all things petrol fuelled.

It’s funny how many romances can be attributed to the wheels of their intended. Think Sandy falling for Johnny after his Greased Lightning wins the drag race or all those Bond girls who couldn’t resist 007 thanks to the iconic Aston Martin. Even Batman got in on the act when he said, “It’s the car right, chicks dig the car”.

Oodle Car Finance teamed up with Celebs Go Dating’s relationship guru Eden Blackman to find out what kind of car owners are the best to form a relationship with.

Tellingly it turns out Audi drivers are pretty good partners, especially when they will “impress you with their knowledge of… certain-to-please Netflix shows”. Apparently, they are like William Thacker from Notting Hill as well, and he was one of cinema’s most loveable gentlemen.

Elsewhere, if you’re into that kind of thing BMW drivers are likened to a certain Christian Grey. Gives a whole new meaning to the term “buckle up”. And in case you had to guess Aston Martin drivers were described as “Always putting their partner’s desires ahead of their own, they will have a great time making sure you’re left with every wish having been fulfilled. There’s no clumsy acceleration here; they’ll change gears seamlessly without you even realising.” Bravo Mr. Bond, bravo.
