Which Entourage Do You Belong To?
Following the award-winning HBO series, the boys are back in the much-anticipated Entourage The Movie which arrives on digital download on 12th October and on Blu-ray ™ and DVD from 26th October.
Movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) is back together with his posse. His brother Johnny (Kevin Dillon) his manager E (Kevin Connolly) and loveable friend Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) are back in business with super-agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). The ultimate lads are back in the movie game and are taking charge with Vinny in the director’s seat. To celebrate the home entertainment release of Entourage The Movie, take a look at some of the other famous entourages. Which entourage would you be in…?
Vincent Chase’s Entourage
Vince and his boys are the epitome of Hollywood cool. They inspired a generation of bros who all wanted to be in Entourage. Vince is supported by his best friend Eric ‘E’, who he has known since childhood. Vince credits E for pushing him into acting and thanked him by making E his manager. Vince’s half brother Jonny ‘Drama’ Chase was the original actor in the family and paved the way for his ‘baby bro’, Vincent may be more successful but he would never leave his brother behind. The gang would not be complete however, without his irrepressible pal from Queens Salvatore, “Turtle” Assante, who is hired by Vince to be his driver. To top this unruly crew off, you have the unscrupulous and usually enraged Ari Gold, who manages to keep the boys in check. Fast cars, loose women and all the perks of being a celebrity, if your friends embody glitz, glamour and bravado then this is the group for you.
The Rat Pack Entourage
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior were the ultimate kings of cool, these suave debonair men had women eating out of their hands – they were the original entourage. Do you like trilbies, braces and cigars? Then this is probably the Entourage you belong in. These Hollywood crooners sure knew how to party and could always be found with an ‘Old Fashioned’ in hand. So pour yourself a whiskey and raise a glass to old ‘blue eyes’ himself, because if you belong in this entourage, you must be doing something right.
Young Money Entourage
Lil’ Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj are in one of the best R&B labels around. And though these are the most famous three, they are also joined Mack Maine, Birdman and Cory Gunz. If you haven’t heard the group’s main collaboration Bed Rock, perhaps you’ve been living under a rock for the past ten years?! The song features Lil Wayne, Gudda Gudda, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga, Jae Mullz and R&B singer Lloyd. Though there be some drama in the crew as Nicki Minaj’s boyf Meek Mills has beef with rapper Drake and aired his opinions of the Toronto star publicly on Twitter. Eek hope it’s not too awkward for Nicki. So if drama is your thing, this is probably the entourage for you.
Kim and Kanye’s Entourage
When they’re not hanging out with Queen B (that’s Beyonce for the uneducated) and Jay Z, Kim and Kanye (Kimye as they shall hereafter be named) have their very own Entourage. Along with her unfamous friends, Jonathan Cheban and Brittny Gastineau, who have made multiple appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kimye are also friends with Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Chelsea Handler, Ciara, P-Diddy, Rachel Roy, Kimberley Stewart (daughter of Rod), Rihanna, Young Money member Nicki Minaj and tennis pro Serena Williams. Phew that was a long list. Okay, so if you have a friendship list as long as Kanye’s left arm, then this is probably the entourage for you. So just a few famous faces for you there – that is one glamorous Christmas card list.
Taylor Swift’s Entourage
Are you a famous model, singer or celebrity? Are you incredibly tall, skinny and attractive? Then you’re probably a member of Taylor Swift’s entourage. This bevy of beauties are mostly spotted in their natural habitats of swanky wine bars, front row fashion week seats or even walking the catwalk themselves – that is when they’re not joining the pack leader on her sell-out arena tours. If you fit into this attractive sect then count yourself lucky because this means YOU have a friend for life. Just like Cara Delevigne, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Selena Gomez. Check you out.
Rihanna’s Entourage
We all know one of RiRi’s most famous friends is fellow singer, Katy Perry. Well, she is also friends with Jennifer Lawrence, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Christina Millian, Nicki Minaj and last but by no means least, Beyonce. Bad Gal RiRi must really be a sweetie at heart, how else could you explain that long list of female friends, maybe she’s been listening to the Spice Girls – Girl Power! And they really are a power group, all of them incredibly influential and successful in the music industry. So if you’re a power group with fantastic style and more money than you could shake a stick at, then welcome to Rihanna’s Entourage. Even her BFF, Melissa Forde now gets a good share of her own money after forming her own clothing line of the back of the famous friendship.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Entourage
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire have been friends since childhood. Their careers started out together when they shared just a few moments of screen time in This Boy’s Life in 1993 and then co-starred again in 1995’s Don’s Plum. In the ’90s they then formed a friendship group with Lukas Haas, David Blaine, and Entourage’s very own Kevin Connolly and became known as The P***y Posse (classy huh?!) following their reputation for panty chasing. Leonardo has undoubtedly gone on to have the most success but hasn’t forgotten his friends and if you can party like these guys – not many can – then you surely deserve to become a fully fledged member of The Pu**y Posse.
Ocean’s Entourage
These dapper looking men are among the hottest men in Hollywood. Their friendship started when they first appeared in Ocean’s 11 together and have since appeared in two subsequent films in the heist franchise. The boysm Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon, were renowned for pulling pranks on each other and George Clooney was even quoted as saying, “My friends are rough on me. Brad Pitt and Matt Damon are brutal. My friends used to change my outgoing phone message all the time.” So if your friends are all cheeky chappy’s with a mischievous sense of humour then this is certainly the entourage for you.
The Brit Pack Entourage
Tom Hiddleston, Matthew Goode, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Kiera Knightly, Carey mMulligan, Tom Sturridge, Henry Cavil and Andrew Garfield are just a few of the plethora of British talent taking Hollywood by storm. Dubbed the Brit pack, these stars have all traversed across the pond to the bright lights of America and succeeded in a difficult industry – all you need is a posh voice and a private education. If you’ve been lucky enough to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth, then this is the entourage for you.
Mark Wahlberg’s Entourage
Marky. Mark. And. The. Funky. Bunch. Mark Wahlberg led this iconic group back in the early ‘90s and had phenomenal success with their single Good Vibrations. This band were as famous for their antics off the charts, as well as on but after a stint in prison Mark Wahlberg pulled himself together and became a rising star in Hollywood both in front and behind the screen. But despite his individual success, he never left his boys behind; he even made the TV serious about their friendships- not sure if you’ve hear of it, Entourage? So if you are unwaveringly loyal and make sure to hook your boys up even when your star far outshines theirs, then this is the Entourage you belong to. Just maybe leave the backwards baseball caps and baggy trousers behind.
