Samuel LoveProduced over five-and-a-half years using the free software Blender, Flow is a real labour of love from top to bottom. This beautifully realised, dialogue-free adventure is truly deserving of the heaps of praise it has received, culminating in becoming the first film from Latvia to receive a nomination and win at the Academy Awards, along with its win of the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film (both statuettes were later put on display at the Latvian National Museum of Art). This magical, beautiful film is one of the best animated films in years and a reminder that passion and heart go a long way in filmmaking – and Curzon’s Limited Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray release is a wonderful tribute to it. Essential, inspiring viewing for all ages.
Synopsis
Cat is a solitary animal, but as its home is devastated by a great flood, they find refuge on a boat populated by various species, and will have to team up with them despite their differences.
