Harry Wild Unboxing

TV royalty Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) is the star of this latest slice of comforting ‘cosy crime’, following a literature professor who teams up with a wayward teen to solve mysteries in Dublin. It’s another wonderful release from Acorn Media that piles on the charm for gently addictive viewing.

Synopsis

Literature professor Harriet “Harry” Wild (Jane Seymour, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman ) is struggling to adjust to her recent retirement when she’s mugged. While recuperating at the home of her son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan, The South Westerlies), a senior detective in the Dublin police, Harry reads his case files and notices that his current murder inquiry bears striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play. After Charlie rebuffs her input, Harry decides to find the killer herself to prove she was right. Little does she realise that this decision will lead to a whole new life. When Harry crosses paths with wayward teen Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd, Whitstable Pearl), she recruits his help in her investigation. Much to the dismay of Charlie and his wife (Amy Huberman, Finding Joy), soon the unlikely pair are solving mysteries ranging from fledgling serial killers with Dostoevsky fixations to kidnappers, con artists, psychopaths, occult crimes and grisly murders. But when Fergus’s mother suddenly turns up, years after abandoning her family, they have a deeply personal mystery to solve: What are her intentions? And can he trust her? This boxed set contains all episodes from Series One and Two.
