Samuel LoveA surreal and enigmatic little chiller, Inland is a hauntingly beautiful micro-budget folk tale fronted by newcomer Rory Alexander and acting legend Mark Rylance. This offbeat and nightmarish mystery is best experienced blind. Suffice to say, it’s not one you’ll soon forget…
Inland
In rural England, a modern folk tale unravels. Following the mysterious disappearance of his mother, a young man walks back into a world he once knew well. Guided by a father figure and old friends who care deeply, his journey through the dreamlike spaces of rural England brings him face to face with the loss that haunts him in ways he could never have expected. With echoes of David Lynch and Nicolas Roeg, writer-director Fridtjof Ryder’s enigmatic feature premiered at the London Film Festival in 2022 to critical acclaim.
