McGregor Heads To Jane Got A Gun

Ewan McGregor, last seen in Jack The Giant Slayer and soon to be seen in August: Osage County, has ridden in to save the day for villainy duties on Jane Got A Gun.  The film will see Natalie Portman as a woman living on her family farm when her husband staggers in filled with bullets.  The people who did it, led by McGregor, are still after him so Portman has no choice but to try and defend her home by turning to former lover and gun singer Joel Edgerton.  The film has been through hell and back to get to this stage with original director Lynne Ramsay not turning up on the first day of production meaning Warrior’s Gavin O’Connor stepping in to replace him.  The film has also seen Michael Fassbender come and go as well as Jude Law and at one point Bradley Cooper.  McGregor has the likes of Son Of A Gun in the works as well as Peter Capaldi’s Born To Be King.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
