Alice In Wonderland, the 2010 film based on Lewis Carroll’s classic, is edging its way to finding a director for the sequel.  While Tim Burton directed the original it seems he’s not returning but the man in talks is none other than Muppets director, and Flight Of The Concords veteran, James Bobin.  He’s currently busy working on The Muppets…Again but Disney obviously feel he’s the man to bring Alice back to the big screen having seen the first film bring in a heft bag of cash at the global box office.  The Wrap are claiming that star, and Mad Hatter, Johnny Depp is also ready to return to Wonderland but there is nothing official on that front.  Original writer Linda Woolverton is again writing the script although what it will be based on is being a kept a mystery at this point with the original utilising parts of Wonderland, Through The Looking Glass and What Alice Found There into its story.  No word on whether Mia Wasikowska will be returning to the title role as yet.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
