Anne Hathaway Could Star In The Burning Woman
It seems writing a spec script with a specific actress in mind could work out for Brad Ingelsby who wrote The Burning Woman with Anne Hathaway now considering the lead role. As with his last film The Burning Woman will be set in a blue-collar town of the US the film will see focus on a 32-year-old woman whose teenage daughter goes missing leaving her to raise her infant grandson. The film will then look at the next 11 years as she raises the child and tries to understand what happened to her daughter in order to obtain some closure.
Ingelsby developed the script with Michael Pruss and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions is looking to produce. If Hathaway signs to star she’ll be the main selling point as the project is offered around to distributors. Last seen in Interstellar Hathaway has Alice In Wonderland sequel Through The Looking Glass coming out next year and will next be seen opposite Robert De Niro in The Intern. Source – Deadline
