Chloe Moretz, about to unleash all manner of telekinetic hell as Carrie, is set to star for Hitchcock director Sacha Gervasi in The November Criminals.  Based on the book by Simon Munson the story follows high school senior Addison Schact as he tries to get in to the University Of Chicago while dealing drugs to his classmates, investigating the murder of his friend Kevin and harbouring feelings for his best friend Digger, the part Moretz would play.  We can only assume that given Moretz’s previous high school incarnations as Hit Girl in Kick Ass and the upcoming Carrie, that she’s unlikely to be on the debate team but more likely something a little edgier.  The role of Addison hasn’t been cast yet but is set to be hotly contended by a host of young up and coming actors.  The first draft of the script was written by Eastern Promises’ Steven Knight with Gervasi himself doing some second draft work.  The film is set to start production as early as this coming January.  Before that we’ll see Moretz opposite Denzel Washington in the film incarnation of hit TV show The Equalizer.  Source – The Wrap

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
