Christoph Waltz, last seen in Django Unchained and currently to be heard in Epic, is set to star in true crime thriller True Crimes.  The film will be based on David Grann’s Letter From Poland article which was published in The New Yorker in 2008.  The story sees a murder investigation gone cold until officer Jacek Wroblewski realised that one of the suspects, author Krystian Bala, had written about a murder bearing uncanny, and previously unreleased, details about the murder, in his latest novel.  He was subsequently convicted of the murder.  Waltz will take on the role of Wroblewski.  While there is no director yet attached it is rumoured that Roman Polanski is interested in the project.  Before that Waltz will be seen in Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem before heading off to The Muppets…Again.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
