While the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park IV, now officially titled Jurassic World, were delayed for a while and looked to miss their scheduled 2014 release they will at least have a little sympathy for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies.  For Jurassic World seems to have overcome its teething problems and will now get a prime release spot, in the year that will also see Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Star Wars VII, Avatar 2, Bond 24 among countless other big hitters, of 12th June 2015.  Captain Jack and his Pirates of The Caribbean meanwhile have hit rough waters, with producer Jerry Bruckheimer stating that while the story is in place, and very good, the script needs more work.  Given the big budget nature of these films it’s hardly surprising that studios are aiming to get things right at a script level in order to try to gain as much box office revenue as possible.  After all, we really don’t want another Lone Ranger on our hands.  Jurassic World, of which little is still known about the plot, is being directed by Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow while Pirates is in the seafaring hands of Kon-Tiki directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
