Dominic Cooper, in cinemas now opposite Colin Farrell in Dead Man Down and no strangers to vampires having starred in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, has joined the cast of Dracula.  Last week Luke Evans was cast as the titular bloodsucker with Cosmopolis’ Sarah Gadon also attached.  The story, which for a long time was called Dracula: Year One, tells the origin of how Prince Vlad ended up inspiring Bram Stoker.  The film will see Evans as Vlad trying to defend his family from a ruthless sultan and in doing so dipping into a dark secret that turns him into the first ever vampire.  The film has been written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless with Gary Shore making his directorial debut.  Cooper will next be seen in Summer In February before heading to computer game adaptation Need For Speed opposite Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
