Fables, the DC comic created by Bill Willingham back in 2002, is looking to get a big screen outing.  For a while it looked like Harry Potter director David Yates was going to direct the film back in 2010 but he’s since moved on to other projects paving the way for A Royal Affair director Nikolaj Arcel to step into the director’s chair.  Fables tells the story of all those famous characters from fairy tales who have all been driven out of their home by an evildoer known as The Emperor Of Adversary.  Now they reside here on Earth, New York in a place they call Fabletown.  King Cole claims to be in charge but it’s really Snow White who has the real power and she’s a little fed up with life having divorced Prince Charming, who has also been married to Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.  At one point ABC looked to turn Fables into a TV show but they later produced the similar themed show Once Upon A Time which bares many of the same traits and characters as Fables.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
