This year, the Royal Albert Hall continues its season of Films With Live Orchestra with an unforgettable line up of big screen classics accompanied by live music. Last year, films included Gladiator, The Godfather, Frozen and Breakfast At Tiffany’s. This year’s season includes Aliens, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park.  All films are shown in the spectacular main auditorium of the Hall on a screen 20 metres x 10 metres, accompanied by an orchestra of around 200 musicians.

The fun kicks off this March with Indiana Jones: Raiders Of The Lost Ark (Wednesday 9th-Saturday 12th March). To celebrate the film’s 35th Anniversary, the screening will be accompanied by the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Ludwig Wicki, performing John Williams’ legendary score. This will mark the first time that a full Williams score has ever been performed on the Hall’s famous stage.

Further concerts include:
Gladiator Live (25th-26th May, 19.30 both days).

Independence Day Live (Thursday 22nd September, 19.00).
This 20th Anniversary event will kick off with a pre-show talk from composer David Arnold, discussing his work scoring Independence Day, Sherlock, five James Bond films and the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
