Jamie Foxx, last seen in Tarantino’s Django Unchained and to be seen later this year as the President in White House Down, is in talks to take on the daddy role for the remake of Annie.  Producers Jay-Z and Will Smith have already cast the little orphan in the shape of Oscar nominated actress Quvenzhané Wallis and are now looking to Foxx for the key role of formerly known as Daddy Warbucks but now rebranded as Benjamin Stacks, because as we all know; It’s All About The Benjamins.  The film has had scripts drafted by Aline Brosh and Emma Thompson and Easy A’s Will Gluck is set to direct and is currently giving the script one final polish.  Jay-Z himself will be providing the music.  Before that Foxx has the small matter of trying to kill your friendly neighbourhood spider as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  Source – The HollywoodReporter

Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
