Jennifer Lawrence, last seen on Oscar winning form for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, is set to star and produce her first movie in the shape of The Rules Of Inheritance.  Based on the memoirs by Claire Bidwell, The Rules Of Inheritance will see Lawrence as a young woman who loses both her parents to cancer at a key point in her life.  Shocked at the tragedy, she heads out on a voyage of discovery and learns a thing or two about herself and life.  The film has been adapted for screen by Shame and The Iron Lady’s Abi Morgan and will be directed by Susanne Beir, who Lawrence has just worked with on Serena.  Lawrence of course has a typically chock-a-block schedule with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire out later this year, thriller The Devil You Know, Serena and David O. Russell’s American Hustle all to follow before she dons the blue skin of Mystique again for X-Men: Days Of Future Past.  Source – The Wrap

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
