Johnny Depp To Quit Acting?

Johnny Depp, the Hollywood super star about to be seen as Tonto in The Lone Ranger, has hinted that he might be ready to hang up his acting spurs.  Talking to BBC Breakfast ahead of the release of The Lone Ranger Depp stated that he realised that these days he speaks more written words than he does his own.  Depp went on to say that while he was looking to a quieter life his plans to stop acting would not be taking place in the immediate future.  Asked if franchise instalments to Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 and Alice In Wonderland 2 might suffer from his potential retirement the actor said “No, I think we’re alright in those categories”.  Depp is currently working on Wally Pfister’s Transcendence before heading Into The Woods.  Source – BBC
