Jurassic Park 4, the latest instalment of dinosaurs set loose on hapless humans, has, like a tranquilized T-Rex, come to a lumbering halt. Rumours had started rumbling on Tuesday night from crew members on social networking site Twitter, and while those tweets have since been deleted they were seen by enough people to spark studio Universal into action. The studio have said that the film’s release date, which was scheduled for 2014, has now been moved in order to bring the audience the best Jurassic Park experience possible. The real reason seems to be to allow director Colin Trevorrow and his writing partner Derrick Connelly to refine the script to what they want. The original release date of 2014 had been in place before Trevorrow took charge of the project and casting was taking longer than expected with names such as Bryce Dallas Howard and David Oyelowo on the potential roster. In related news it seems Columbia Pictures has taken advantage of the situation and moved 21 Jump Street 2 to the June 13th 2014 release date Jurassic Park was expected to fill. Source – Variety
