Keira Knightley, the actress last seen in Anna Karenina, is set to star and produce in the film version of Suzanne Rindell’s upcoming novel The Other Typist.  Set to be published later this year, the book tells the story of a lonely typist living in 1920’s New York.  When she meets an exotic new friend the pair begin to explore the Big Apple’s seedy but glamorous underworld.  The book has been likened to a Patricia Highsmith novel in the vein of The Talented Mr. Ripley as well as similarities to a Hitchcock film.  Before she heads off to ‘20s New York though Knightley will next be seen opposite Chris Pine in Jack Ryan before heading back to New York for Can A Song Save Your Life?  Source – The Hollywood Reporter via The Guardian.

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
