Marvel, the studio behind the mammoth success that are Avengers Assemble and Iron Man 3, are not resting on their laurels in spite of their latest film doing stellar work at the global box office.  The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that studio head and Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. have spoken about renewing the actors contract to return as Tony Stark.  Downey Jr.’s Marvel contract expired when he completed work on Iron Man 3 meaning any appearances of Iron Man in Avengers 2 and beyond would potentially have to be recast.  The word is that Downey Jr. is in talks for Avengers 2 and 3 but no discussions have taken place about an Iron Man 4 with rumours suggesting that Downey Jr. is reluctant to star in another stand-alone film.

In similar news The Hollywood Reporter stated that Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige confirmed the studio are developing scripts for such characters as Ms. Marvel and the recently reacquired Blade.  Other films in the pipeline include Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Black Panther and The Runaways.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
