Michael B. Jordan, the actor best known as Friday Night Lights Vince Howard and for last year’s superhero movie Chronicle, could be re-teaming with his Chronicle director Josh Trank to play another superhero but a more familiar one in the shape of The Fantastic Four’s Johnny Storm.  With the new film set for a 2015 release Trank is starting to pull together his cast.  Rumours earlier this week had Girls star Allison Williams linked to the role of Sue Storm.  Chris Evans played the role of Johnny in the original two Fantastic Four movies with Jessica Alba in the role of Sue.  Trank apparently is not definite on any casting until he has seen their chemistry together so it’s all still very much up in the air like The Human Torch.  Jordan has been winning accolades for his role in upcoming Fruitvale Station and will be seen later this year in Are We Officially Dating?  Source – The Wrap

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
