Michael Bay, who will shortly see his latest action film Pain & Gain released, is targeting a new project in the shape of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.  At this point it seems that Bay is only planning on developing the project with studio Warner Bros. but it’s being suggested that Bay may direct the film once he’s finished on his next project Transformers 4.  Ghost Recon is a video game from Ubisoft and tells the story of a US Army Special Forces team who are sent into areas undercover and take out the bad guys.  Given Bay’s fondness of all things military, a glance at the Transformers films being a key highlight, this project seems like a match made in heaven.  Ubisoft are also the games developers behind the proposed movie of Assassin’s Creed which is set to star Michael Fassbender.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
