Michelle Williams and Joel Edgerton, stars last seen in Oz The Great And The Powerful and Zero Dark Thirty respectively, have both signed on to star in the remake of Italian thriller The Double Hour.  The original film, which was released in 2009, sees a new couple falling hopelessly in love with each other until, while on a weekend getaway, her murky past begins to catch up with them as they find themselves part of a well-planned robbery as her world collapses around her.  The new film will be written and directed by Maria Full Of Grace director Joshua Marston.  Edgerton will be seen shortly in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby before donning the six-shooter for troubled project Jane Got A Gun.  Williams meanwhile is set to star opposite Kristin Scott Thomas for Sweet francaise.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
