Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield, the young stars who have appeared on screen together before in Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, are –re-teaming to star in The White Circus.  The film will mark the feature film debut of Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski who gained an Oscar nomination for their short animated film Madame Tuli-Putli.  The White Circus will tell the story of a young pilot who crash lands in a war-torn village on New Year’s Eve.  While there he falls in love with a cabaret singer and, with the help of a talking bear, encourages the locals to break free of the constraints forced upon them by a despot.  Andrea Riseborough is also set to star in the film with a certain Terry Gilliam on executive producing duties.  Before that we’ll see Butterfield in sci-fi Ender’s Game while Moretz will be donning the harsh language once again as Hit Girl in Kick Ass 2 before having mummy issues in the remake of Carrie.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
