Owen Wilson, soon to be seen opposite his Wedding Crasher co-star in The Internship, has joined the cast of Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice.  The film will be based on Thomas Pynchon’s novel and is set in 1970s Los Angeles and follows a pot-smoking private detective as he investigates the case of a missing girl who happens to be one of his ex-girlfriends.  The film has been something of a pet-project for There Will Be Blood director Anderson and he’s been trying to get it off the ground for some time.  He’s now locked in his The Master star Joaquin Phoenix to take the lead with Benicio Del Toro set to play his lawyer.  Wilson’s part is, for now, being kept a secret but Anderson has form in taking comedic actors and giving them dramatic impetus with Adam Sandler starrer Punch Drunk Love.  Some reports suggest Wilson could be playing a cop who likes to give Phoenix’s character a hard time.  Before Wilson will be seen in the upcoming You Are Here before heading to The Grand Budapest Hotel for regular collaborator Wes Anderson.  Source – The Playlist

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
