Philip Seymour Hoffman Dies Tragically
Oscar winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has tragically died at the age of 46. The actor was found in his Manhattan apartment after a friend called the emergency services. New York medical officers are yet to comment on the cause of death. Hoffman had become known as one of Hollywood’s best actors of the current generation, and most likely of all time. He won his Oscar for his portrayal of Truman Capote and was also nominated for his roles in The Master, Doubt and Charlie Wilson’s War. A mainstay of the films of Paul Thomas Anderson, Hoffman was one of those actors who no matter how big or small his part always left an indelible mark on the film in the best way possible. The actor was in the process of shooting the final part of The Hunger Games franchise; Mocking Jay Part 2, and it’s not clear yet if he had completed work on the project yet. He has a number of films awaiting release including Anton Corbijn’s John le Carré’s A Most Wanted Man. Hoffman is survived by 3 children.
