Daniel Radcliffe, the actor still best known as Harry Potter and last seen in The Woman In Black, has signed on to star in Tokyo Vice.  The film, which will be directed by Anthony Mandler and written by J.T. Rogers, will be based on Jake Adelstein’s nonfiction book.  The story charts Adelstein’s life when he moved to Japan as a crime reporter and ended up covering all manner of seedy underworld activity which eventually bought him face to face with one of Japan’s most deadly yakuza bosses.  After threats to him and his family he stepped back from the job only to strike back.  It marks a continuation for Radcliffe who is in the process of building up an impressive array of projects.  Next up he’ll appear as poet Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings before starring in The F Word and Horns.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
