Shia LaBeouf, soon to be seen opposite Robert Redford and no stranger to brotherly rivalry having starred opposite Tom Hardy in Lawless, is set to star in Villain.  The film will see LaBeouf heading in to the wilds of Alaska with his brother, who has yet to be cast, to try and reconcile the distance that has formed between them.  But the pair underestimate the ferocious terrain they are trying to navigate.  The script has been written by Robocop remake writer Josh Zetumer and will be directed by the recently hired Juan Carlos Fresnadillo who directed 28 Weeks Later.  At one point Hard Candy director David Slade was set to direct the film but his schedule has filled up thanks to his work on TV’s Hannibal.  Before he heads into the wilds LaBeouf will be seen in The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman before getting frisky in Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
