John Travolta, last seen in Oliver Stone’s Savages, has signed on to star in The Forger for Wallander director Philip Martin.  The script, which has been written by The Call writer Richard D’Ovidio, will see Travolta as Ray Cutter a former child art prodigy who ended up in prison.  Granted early release Cutter wants to go straight and spend time with his sick son.  But the people who orchestrated his early release want him to help them with one final job.  Presumably, given Cutter’s art abilities and the title of the film, it will involve some kind of fake currency.

In other Travolta related news his next film Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father, will now be directed by Captain America director Joe Johnston.  Barry Levinson was previously set to direct the film and had stars such as Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Kelly Preston and Lindsay Lohan set to star opposite Travolta.  Who of those stars will sign back on is unclear at this point.  Gotti tells the story of the infamous mobster John Gotti, to be played by Travolta, from the point of view of his son.  Before all that though Travolta will next be seen in Killing Season opposite Robert De Niro and Milo Ventimiglia.  Source – The Wrap And The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
