Once Upon a Time in the West Unboxing

Just two years after Spaghetti Western pioneer Sergio Leone’s The Good, The Bad and The Ugly made history in 1966, the celebrated moviemaking maestro put out another masterpiece and one that – depending on who you ask – might be even better than the Clint Eastwood classic. Once Upon a Time in the West, the epic tale of revenge starring Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards, and Claudia Cardinale, makes its long-awaited 4K UHD debut with a sparkling restoration personally approved by Martin Scorsese with his cinema scholar and preservation enthusiast hats on. This beautiful, definitive version of the film has been released in a gorgeous Limited Edition release by Paramount that will be a must-own title for film collectors.

One of the most iconic, and influential, movies ever made, Sergio Leone’s monumental epic comes to 4K Ultra HD.™ This edition includes both HDR-10 and Dolby Vision, restored from the original camera negative by Paramount’s archive team, L’imaggine Ritrovata and The Film Foundation, and personally scrutinized and signed off on by Martin Scorsese. Set in the dying days of the Old West, a struggle to control water in a dusty desert town embroils three hard-bitten gunmen in an epic clash of greed, honor, and revenge.
