Samuel LoveScreamboat is a delightfully unhinged horror ride that gleefully hijacks the innocence of iconic Disney short Steamboat Willie, now that it’s in the public domain and ripe for grisly reimagining. The gory flick starring Terrifier legend David Howard Thornton subverts the original’s whistling whimsy with unsettling glee and dares to ask: what if Walt Disney‘s earliest creation had a body count? Filled with unforgettably gruesome and bizarre imagery – who would’ve thought we’d ever see a blood-soaked humanoid mouse kicking around a severed penis – this surreal slasher should be on all horror fans’ radars.
Synopsis
