Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama Unboxing

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama, easily one of the best film titles of all time, is another slice of campy 80s trash from 101 Films released as #047 in the distributor’s Black Label series. This scrappy, schlocky and unapologetically naff offering from Charles Band’s Full Moon Features, this cult classic is an exuberant collision of horror and comedy that’s gloriously trashy, shamelessly sleazy, and fully committed to the art of delightful bad taste. Also included in the set is the 2022 sequel that wonderfully captures the cheesy and over-the-top approach of the original 1988 film. This is a real treat for fans of 80s cinema and another masterfully put together release by 101 Films. It’s so bad, it’s great.

Synopsis

101 Films presents the gloriously camp 80s horror Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama (1988). A proudly low-budget gem from Charles Band’s Full Moon Features, this is quintessential “so bad it’s good” cinema – cheesy, raunchy, and gleefully over-the-top, blending horror and comedy in equal measure. Bringing together three of the decade’s ultimate scream queens – Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre), and Michelle Bauer (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) – Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama has earned enduring cult status as a trashy, late-night favourite.

In a bowling alley from hell…there’s only one way to score! There are no freshmen in the college of love, and they’re about to graduate to madcap mayhem when a sorority prank goes crazy. Out to steal a trophy from a local bowling alley, the kids accidentally unleash the imp – a sadistic little spirit with a diabolical sense of humour. He creates demons and loves sexy women. He’s the original party animal, inviting you to come along and die laughing – just like everybody else. The Sorority Babes won’t live through initiation, but don’t blame that cute little killer. He’s evil by nature and funny as hell. And even if you can take a joke, it kills you.
