Canadian paranormal TV series SurrealEstate is a spooky gem waiting to be discovered. The series follows real estate agent Luke Roman (Tim Rozon) and an elite team of specialists as they handle the cases that no one else can: haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. It’s a unique premise presumably entirely built around the titular pun. But hey, it’s a great little show – cosy and spooky in equal measure, this is another unmissable winter binge if you’re looking for something a little different.
Aided by his own remarkable abilities and an eclectic team of associates, real estate agent Luke Roman specialises in clearing and closing haunted houses. With a team of real estate specialists, they investigate, discover and correct the unconventional problems that make certain properties “metaphysically engaged.” Most of us would call them haunted houses!
What makes the team at The Roman Agency unique, and in demand, is their uncanny ability to investigate and explain the truly inexplicable… and find a solution. And close the sale. That’s the key. Solving the mystery, closing the portal, expelling the demon, putting the tortured soul to rest, those are all just the means to a greater end: A sale. After all, closure is nice, but closings are what The Roman Agency is all about!
With Schitt’s Creek stars, Tim Rozon and Sarah Levy, and a cast of great characters, this fresh original show is essential for all fans of horror and the supernatural.
