Talking Heads: More Songs About Buildings and Food Unboxing

More Songs About Buildings and Food, Talking Heads’ bold, inventive second album, is back as a Super Deluxe Edition from Rhino, spread across 3 CDs and a Blu-ray. Released in 1978 and produced alongside Brian Eno, the album pushed the band’s sound further, blending punk, funk, and art rock and helping define the era back in late-1970s New York City. This new edition, following Rhino’s release of Talking Heads:77, features a fresh remaster of the album alongside a live recording from the band’s August 1978 show at New York’s Entermedia Theatre, with concert footage from that performance and another at UC Berkeley’s Sproul Plaza included on the Blu-ray with new Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes by E.T. Thorngren and Jerry Harrison. A 60-page hardcover book completes the must-own package, packed with previously unseen photos and new liner notes featuring memories from all four band members.
