Samuel LoveThe Creeps leans hard into the 80s-trash-horror vibe as a horde of nasty, mischievous little monsters attack a ski lodge. The film doesn’t shy away from its own absurdity, even dropping in self-aware cameos from Christopher Lambert (Highlander) and Joe Dante (director of Gremlins, clearly an enormous influence here). The film is a winking B-movie throwback that aims for mischievous, nostalgic fun – it’s gory, ridiculous, and unabashedly embracing the “so-bad-it’s-good” spirit of old-school horror-comedy. A real love letter to a bygone era of festive horror shlock.
Synopsis
