Samuel LoveThis is the self-preservation society. Arguably the most iconic British film of all time, The Italian Job needs no introduction. This timeless classic caper starring Michael Caine and Noël Coward is the quintessential swinging 60s Brit flick, and has been long overdue a 4K UHD release. The wait has been worth it for collectors, as Paramount have given the film the lavish treatment it so richly deserves in this Limited Edition package.
This beautiful release of course includes the film in glorious 4K which is worth the price of admission alone, along with a bundle of special features. But also included is an envelope of artcards, stickers, a poster, and a collectible ‘gold’ bar (which unfortunately is just shiny cardboard). All of this is housed within a rigid slipcase.
Synopsis
In this furiously fast-paced action-comedy, Charlie Croker (Oscar® winner* Michael Caine) is out of jail and on the make with an ingenious plan for the heist of the century. Aided and abetted by top criminal mastermind Mr. Bridger (Noël Coward), Charlie sets off with an ace team and three very special cars to lift a major stash from under the noses of the Turin Polizei. Featuring one of the most incredible car chase sequences in movie history, and a true cliffhanger of a finale, THE ITALIAN JOB is an essential classic caper.
