Witherspoon & Reeves Lost In Space

Reese Witherspoon, soon to be seen opposite Matthew McConaughey in Mud before heading to Devil’s Knot with Colin Firth, is in talks to star opposite Keanu Reeves in sci-fi Passengers.  The film is set in the distant future on board a long-range exploration spaceship with the mission of seeking out other worlds for humans to live.  But when one of the men on board is awakened accidentally from cryo-sleep hundreds of years before he is supposed to be he faces a lonely existence with no one else set to be woken in his lifetime.  So he takes matters into his own hands and to wake a female companion, the Witherspoon role if she signs.  The film is set to be directed by Game Of Thrones director Brian Kirk from a script by original Prometheus writer Jon Spaihts.  Witherspoon is currently filming The Good Life and is linked to star in Wish List after that.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
