Samuel LoveBenh Zeitlin’s Wendy is one of the most underrated films of the year. Upon it’s cinema release we said it was “a beautiful and touching fantasy that reminds us to awaken our inner child and believe in magic once again”, and we certainly stand by that. The film has been given a much deserved Blu-ray release from Elysian Film Group so it’s only right we take a closer look…
Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up. The classic story of Peter Pan is wildly reimagined in this ragtag epic starring a stunning cast of young actors, headlined by Devin France in the title role of Wendy.
