A Night At The Oscars

Even if you’re not able to walk down the red carpet yourself, this special evening of live music presented by renowned broadcaster Barry Norman will make you feel like walking through some of Hollywood’s best loved award winners.

On the 1st of June the Philharmonia Orchestra will fill Royal Festival Hall with scores from Lawrence of Arabia (Main Picture), Singin’ in the Rain, Chariots of Fire, The Sound of Music and Out of Africa to name just some. BAFTA-award winning composer and conductor Carl Davis, who composed the score for The French Lieutenant’s Woman, will be leading the evening.

Norman will compére the evening, introducing the twenty-plus different pieces being performed and guiding the audience through the music.
