Could Adam Driver Turn To The Dark Side For Star Wars

Girls star Adam Driver is reportedly in the late stages of negotiations to be the first official cast member to sign on the dotted line for JJ Abrams Star Wars VII.  Variety is reporting that if he signs Driver will be playing a villainous role in the vein of one of cinema’s most iconic bad guys; Darth Vader.  Apparently Driver’s commitment to HBO’s Girls has been a stumbling block but it appears that those scheduling issues may have been overcome, presumably with the help of The Force.  The film has yet to announce any official cast members although Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are all widely expected to return to the franchise while Breaking Bad’s Jesse Plemons has been strongly linked with a leading role.  So what do you think?  Does Adam Driver have what it takes to wield a light sabre in the name of the dark side?  Let us know in the comments below, Twitter, Facebook and of course some kind of intergalactic mail system, we assume there must have been one aboard those Star Destroyers.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
