Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K…

It all began with an ‘80s improv class about two slacker, music-obsessed teenagers, and turned into one of the most successful comedies of the ‘80s, with a spin-off animated series and an equally well-loved sequel, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. And this year, during virtual Comic Con, we all got a little bit over-excited to finally see and hear a little about the upcoming final part of the trilogy—Bill & Ted Face the Music.

But if you missed the fun first time around, what’s it all about?

Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston, Esquire (Alex Winter) are in danger of flunking their history and being shipped off to military academy, when a mysterious stranger arrives from the future (George Carlin) to put himself, and his time machine, at their disposal. It seems that, despite all appearances to the contrary, Bill & Ted’s and their band, Wyld Stallyns, is destined to save the world, align the planets, and create peace on Earth.

All they need to succeed is a kicking history presentation and Bill & Ted have a plan…

Goofy, warm, and with stand-out performances from both leads, Bill & Ted deserves every accolade that’s been thrown at it over the years. A Bill & Ted reissue is exactly the good vibes that the world needs now. So, StudioCanal’s stunning 4K restoration is not only timely, but it’s just the thing to wet your appetite for this Summer’s big release. Party on Dudes.
