Paula Hammond - Features EditorContinuing the trend of top film studios incorporating IMAX DNA into major blockbusters to provide moviegoers with a truly unique experience, IMAX has announced that Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will include special 3D frame breaks exclusively in IMAX 3D.
The original Harry Potter franchise featured IMAX presentations of Order Of The Phoenix and The Half Blood Prince, with a fully-fledged 3D release for both parts of The Deathly Hallows. So the decision to offer Fantastic Beasts in IMAX 3D is sure to thrill fans.
However Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will transport fans into the world of the IMAX experience like never before, with key visual 3D effects breaking beyond the widescreen frame line to take full advantage of the IMAX screen. The filmmakers have also used the effect to enhance the IMAX 3D presentation for a more immersive, engaging and fun audience experience.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them opens today at the BFI IMAX – the biggest cinema screen in the UK.
