From Game Of Thrones To Terminator

It seems that Skynet will have to deal with all manner of new human foe in the shape of Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke who has been cast as Sarah Connor in the Terminator reboot, tentatively named Terminator: Genesis.  Keeping all things meta, Zero Dark Thirty’s Jason Clarke – no relation – is in early negotiations to play John Connor while Game Of Thrones director, and now more famous for Thor: The Dark World, Alan Taylor will direct the film.  Arnold Schwarzenegger is also set to return to the franchise although how they will account for his obvious older age is unclear at the moment.  With a title like that anything is possible. What is unknown is if this new film will be a remake of James Cameron’s classic or a sequel / prequel that will fit into The Terminator’s time travelling time frame.  Either way, if she can lead armies, train dragons and survive Game Of Thrones, Emilia Clarke will certainly give the cyborgs a run for their money.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
